At the last practice class, the teacher teached us how to compose a creative topic, and two techniques to take up some ideas that helps you to compose an essay.
That was one of the most confusing classes I've attended ever, because, as all we know, we've never thought about writing a topic for composing an essay. It was really difficult for me, but then, the teacher explained a pair of tips for helping us.
One of them was by writing random words about the topic you have to talk to, so it can help us to see clear about few topics. The second was the mapping. Mapping is a scheme where you link up a lot of ideas. For example, I talk about the music on the hippie era, so I used different topics and I linked up them.
In my opinion, the second one tip (the mapping), was the best technique for me, because it lets me clarify what ideas would be better to use in an essay and allowed me for being creative at the time I composed my little essay. That tip caught the essence of the essay, because when I was writing, I looked the scheme and it was too much easy to do.
I hope we keep on doing some things like that, because It seemed interesting.
